Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EZY Invoice platform, websites and related services ("the Service"). By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service. Continued use after any update means you accept the revised Terms.
Your account
To use EZY Invoice you need to register an account with accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential and secure.
- All activity that occurs under your account, including the actions of users you invite.
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access or use.
- Assigning appropriate roles and permissions to the team members you add to your company.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree to use EZY Invoice lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Use the Service for fraudulent, misleading or illegal invoicing or financial activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, systems or data.
- Interfere with, disrupt or place undue load on our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Upload malicious code, or content that infringes the rights of others.
We may suspend or limit access where we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
Subscriptions & billing
EZY Invoice is offered on subscription plans. Fees are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) according to the plan you select, billed either monthly or annually in advance. Annual plans are billed once for the year; monthly plans renew each month.
- Plan pricing — you are charged the price of the plan you choose at the time of subscribing or renewal.
- Renewal — subscriptions renew automatically for the same term until cancelled.
- Cancel anytime — you can cancel from your account settings at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period.
- Taxes — prices may be subject to GST and other applicable taxes, which will be shown where required.
Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable for the remainder of a billing period after cancellation.
Your content & data
You own the data you create and store in EZY Invoice, including your invoices, quotes, proforma documents, credit notes, purchase orders, receipts, expenses, vendor and customer records. We do not claim ownership of your business content.
You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy, and you can export your data while your account is active.
Service availability
We work hard to keep EZY Invoice available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, apply updates or make changes that temporarily affect availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that all data will always be accessible without delay.
Intellectual property
The EZY Invoice platform, including its software, design, branding, logos and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You may not use our name or branding without prior written permission, except to identify that you use the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZY Invoice and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to our systems.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will make your data available for export for a reasonable period where practicable, after which it may be deleted in accordance with our retention practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, the law or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of EZY Invoice after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
